M. Seitz Michelle Seitz, CFA - Head of Investment Management, William Blair & Company
Michelle Seitz, CFA, is the head of William Blair Investment Management, a $63 billion global asset management firm with offices in the US, Europe, and Asia. She has been a member of William Blair's executive committee since taking leadership of WBIM in 2001. Under her 13 year leadership, the firm has been transformed from its regional high net worth heritage into an internationally recognized global asset management firm. The business has grown 5 fold from $12 billion to $63 billion, ranking it as one of the largest money managers in the world. Seitz has successfully navigated the business through unprecedented growth and financial market crisis to its current levels of performance. Revenue growth ranks in the top 20% of all investment firms for the last 10 years and 93% of all strategies outperforming their respective benchmarks over the same time period. She is Chairman of the Board and President of William Blair Funds, encompassing 26 US open-end mutual funds and William Blair SICAV, encompassing 9 offshore funds. Seitz has 28 years of investment experience in a broad range of global industries and 17 years of executive leadership and P&L responsibility. Seitz is a Board member of the Financial Accounting Foundation (FAF) charged with the oversight of FASB and GASB. In this role, she chairs the Finance and Compensation Committee and serves on the Executive Committee. Seitz has a BS degree in Accounting from Indiana University, received her CFA designation in 1990, and has her Series 7, 9, 10, 24, and 63 licenses. An active civic and industry participant, Seitz is founding co-chair of The Chicago Council's Women and Global Development Forum, a board member of Indiana University's Investment Management Academy, a board member of IWF Chicago, a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO Chicago Chapter), The Economic Club of Chicago, and The Committee of 200. She is an accomplished speaker and has been profiled in Forbes, Pensions & Investments, the Financial Times, Crain's Chicago Business, The Chicago Tribune, Investment Pensions Europe (IPE), Investment Europe (IE), and a business book, Investment Leadership, by James Ware.

K. Mcleod Krista McLeod, CFA - Partner & COO, Silverpath Capital Management
Krista McLeod, CFA, oversees compliance, finance, marketing, client service and portfolio administration for Silverpath Capital Management LLC. McLeod was most recently the Global Head of Client Service for Brookfield Investment Management Inc., a firm focused on real asset securities with assets under management in excess of $10 billion as of December 31, 2013. She has more than 10 years of investment experience, including significant involvement with hedge fund oversight, reporting and management. Prior to joining Brookfield in 2009, McLeod was a credit analyst with BNP Paribas as part of the Energy, Commodities, Export and Project team. McLeod has been a CFA charterholder since 2007 and currently serves as Co-Chair of the Chicago CFA Women’s Advisory Group. She received her JD and MBA from the University of Toronto in 2001.
