Career Consultants offering Speed Resume Critiques:
Joy Maguire-Dooley has been featured in USA Today, The Chicago Tribune and on NBC News as a knowledgeable professional in the field of Career Transition. Recently she participated with national leaders in a Washington think tank roundtable at the White House regarding employment issues. Maguire-Dooley is the founder and former cohost of a weekly radio show JOB TALK. It ran successfully for eight years. Maguire-Dooley co-authored a book on career transition called A Taste for Work now in its second printing. Marcia McMahon is the principal of a Chicago-based career management firm. She works as an Adjunct Career Consultant with various executive career management organizations. She is an Adjunct Faculty at various colleges and universities, where she teaches Human Resource Management and Career Management. She has an extensive Human Resource background including employee development, conflict management and change management. McMahon is a certified career counselor and a frequent speaker on career-related topics for community and professional groups. McMahon works with clients in defining career direction and stepping up their job search efforts. She provides expertise coaching around how to manage a career, researching job targets, preparing a focus resume, successful networking and interviews. McMahon earned a Master of Organization Management from the University of Phoenix and a BA in Organizational Behavior from Northwestern University.
