Program Description:
Success depends on more than financial skills or technical knowledge. It also requires a high level of professionalism and polish. Patricia Cook's dynamic classes focus on delivering vital etiquette and professional presence skills in an entertaining and engaging manner. Participants will learn to maximize personal effectiveness and gain the skills and confidence to excel in any professional situation. This program will cover all facets of business dining etiquette, including host/guest responsibilities, common dining blunders, and table manners 101.

A graduate of the University of Michigan's business school, Patricia Cook joined Harris Bank as a Prospecting Banker and Commercial Lender in 1985. With 15 years experience in the financial industry as a Relationship Manager/V.P. and Manager of Recruiting and Training, Cook knows that success depends on more than analytical skills and technical knowledge. Success also requires the ability to build solid relationships based on respect and trust.

As principal of her own consulting firm, Patricia Cook & Associates, Patricia Cook presents professional presence/business etiquette skills in engaging and dynamic sessions to help individuals strengthen relationships, retain and attract clients in these very competitive times and feel more comfortable and effective in any professional situation. Cook's clients include large banks, consulting firms, accounting firms, law firms, corporations and universities around the country.

Credit card is required to guarantee ALL reservations. No day-of-event pre-registrations accepted (on-site only, if applicable and space available). There is a $5 surcharge for walk-ins. Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and Diners Club are accepted. Cancellations accepted until 5:00 pm, April 16.

A Passport Event This is a "Passport Program." Members of any local CFA society may attend at the CFA Chicago member rate. If you are only a member of CFA Institute, you do not qualify for the society member rate.
