"What I've Learned in 35 years of Private Equity Investing"
Bryan Cressey is a pioneer in the field of private equity investing. He co-founded the private equity firms GTCR, Thoma Cressey Equity Partners, and Cressey and Company, which manage billions of private capital dollars. Cressey has been pictured and featured in Time Magazine and Fortune Magazine and has been elected to the Chicago's Entrepreneurial Hall of Fame. Cressey is acknowledged as an expert in healthcare, where he has invested for over 30 years. He has developed a unique investment strategy in the private equity sector. He will describe many lessons he has learned over the span of his career, and how he applies them to the benefit of his clients. He will further discuss the current state of the private equity market, the trends that have been witnessed in the space over the years, as well as his views on the future of the industry. Cressey holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School, an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Washington.

Presenter Background Information:
Bryan Cressey began his career with First Chicago Equity Group and was one of the founders of the firm that became Golder, Thoma, Cressey, Rauner. He co-founded TCB in 1998. His industry consolidation leadership has been recognized by Fortune and Time magazines, and his particular expertise in the healthcare services field has become widely acknowledged. A member of the Chicago Area Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame, Cressey received his BS in Economics at the University of Washington and earned MBA from Harvard Business School and JD from Harvard Law School.
