The 2011 Annual Dinner is our premier networking event of the year, bringing together nearly 800 investment professionals and key decision-makers. The Officers and Directors of CFA Society of Chicago invite you to attend this year's event where you will have the opportunity to socialize with individual members and show support for the new class of CFA Charterholders, the CFA designation and for the Society.

The 25th Annual Dinner will take place on Thurs, Nov. 10 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the Fairmont Hotel.

We will feature keynote speaker Jeremy J. Siegel:

  • Director - Securities Industry Institute
  • Senior Investment Strategy Advisor - WisdomTree Investments, Inc.
  • Distinguished Leadership Award Recipient - Securities Industry Association
  • Nicholas Molodovsky Award Recipient - CFA Institute

What's Ahead for the Economy and Markets Now?
Professor Siegel, author of the best-selling "Stocks for the Long Run," will discuss current and future returns on stocks, bonds, and the dollar. He will examine the valuation of the equity market and the role of inflation in market returns. Prof. Siegel will also weigh in on the debate between the Shiller "CAPE" P-E ratio used by a number of market observers and other measures of market valuation as well as the major threats that face our economy and the stock market. Finally, he will discuss which types of stocks represent the best values today and how investors should structure their portfolios.
