The CFA Society of Chicago Book Club is an excellent way for members to discuss financial literature with others in the society. The group is looking for interested members to meet at the CFA Society of Chicago Office or join the group by webinar/conference call for members not able to attend in person (Note: non-members are welcome to join by webinar/conference call only). Register at BookClub@cfachicago.org to be part of the book club and to join the group's email list so you have the opportunity to discuss the books and pick new books for the next quarter.
Discuss reports from the SEC/CFTC joint committee on the Flash Crash.

All book club attendees must RSVP by emailing BookClub@cfachicago.org. Be sure to indicate whether you are attending in person or via phone. Phone registrations will no longer be in effect for all future book club meetings.
If you are a CFA Chicago Member and would like to join the Online Community group, please log onto the CFA Chicago Online Community Web site and join the "CFA Chicago Book Club Group." By joining the group, you are able to participate in online discussions about the readings between meetings, vote on future readings, and weigh in on potential meeting times and venues.
