Presenter Background Information:
George U. "Gus" Sauter is the Chief Investment Officer of Vanguard. In this role, he is responsible for the oversight of approximately $1 trillion managed by Vanguard Fixed Income and Quantitative Equity Groups. The funds managed by these two investment groups include active and passive stock funds, bond funds, money market funds, and stable value funds. Mr. Sauter joined Vanguard in 1987. Previously, he was a trust investment officer with First Bancorp of Ohio (formerly The First National Bank of Ohio).
