Biography: Mr. Kalish is the Senior Macro Strategist for Ned Davis Research. He and his team are responsible for all of the firm's bond and economic analysis. Mr. Kalish writes the Daily Economic Commentary, which analyzes all of the day's economic reports and other relevant events. He also writes the Credit Comment, a high frequency, quick look at developments in the credit markets. Additionally, he is the editor of the Bond Market Focus, a monthly strategy publication, and Trends & Themes, each edition of which is devoted to an in-depth analysis and discussion of a single topic of interest. Mr. Kalish and his team are also responsible for identifying economic trends and themes as they relate to selecting equity sectors and groups. They provide regular updates for five sectors: Energy, Consumer Discretionary, Financials, Materials, and Utilities. Since 2003, Mr. Kalish and his team have focused on housing and energy.
