Luncheon Keynote Speaker:
Roxanne Martino, President & Chief Executive Officer - Harris Alternatives, L.L.C. Ms. Martino is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Harris Alternatives L.L.C., which manages $14.2 billion in funds of hedge funds designed to meet various investment mandates including multi-strategy formats, and is well known for the Aurora family of funds. Ms. Martino has been at Harris since 1990. She spent the first seven years of her career at Coopers & Lybrand, where she was a Senior Manager focusing on the commodities and securities area. She then spent over six years at an alternative investment firm, where she was a general partner. Ms. Martino is also a contributing author of a chapter titled "The Due Diligence Process" in the book, Hedge Fund Strategies, 2nd Edition, and has been profiled and quoted in leading industry publications. She received a Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of Notre Dame and an M.B.A. from The University of Chicago.

Panelists:

Adam Blitz, CFA, Chief Investment Officer - Evanston Capital Management Mr. Blitz is the Chief Investment Officer, a Principal, and a member of the Investment Committee of Evanston Capital Management, LLC. He has over ten years of institutional investment management experience with an emphasis in quantitative analysis, trading, and risk management. Prior to helping establish Evanston Capital Management, Mr. Blitz worked in the Prime Brokerage area at Goldman, Sachs & Co., where he was responsible for developing, selling, and managing funding and financing products to offer to hedge funds. He also worked closely with the risk management group within Prime Brokerage, which is responsible for determining the appropriate amount of leverage to extend to hedge funds from both a regulatory and risk-based perspective. Mr. Blitz received his B.S. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School. Mr. Blitz is a member of the CFA Society of Chicago.

Patrick Kenary, Head of Portfolio Strategy and Investment Committee Member - Glenwood
Mr. Kenary, Head of Portfolio Strategy and Investment Committee Member, joined Glenwood in 2005. He focuses on market research, portfolio strategy and product development for Glenwood and is the primary liaison between Glenwood's Investment Committee and the North American market. Prior to joining Glenwood, Mr. Kenary was the Senior Portfolio Manager for HFR Asset Management's active portfolios, which he undertook after a brief interlude as an entrepreneur. Before this, he worked as a proprietary trader and analyst at Tudor Investment Corporation, then as a trader and risk manager at Sheridan Investments (an options-focused CTA). Mr Kenary began his career in financial services as an analyst in the mergers and acquisitions group at Smith Barney. He also worked in legislative affairs at the White House Office of Management and Budget. Mr Kenary received a B.A. in History from Harvard University.

Thomas Macina, CFA, Senior Managing Director - Mesirow Advanced Strategies
Mr. Macina is a Senior Managing Director of Mesirow Advanced Strategies, Inc. and is a member of its investment, executive and management committees. He is responsible for manager due diligence, strategy analysis and manager monitoring. Previously, Mr. Macina was with a multi-strategy hedge fund, where he was responsible for investments in a variety of sectors. Prior to joining the hedge fund industry, Mr. Macina worked in strategy consulting with Bain & Company and in investment banking with Houlihan, Lokey, Howard and Zukin, Inc. Mr. Macina received a B.S. in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an M.B.A. from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. Mr. Macina is a member of the CFA Society of Chicago.

Dr. Stephen Ross, Chief Investment Officer and Principal - Ross Institutional Investors; Franco Modigliani Professor of Financial Economics - MIT
Dr. Ross is the Franco Modigliani Professor of Financial Economics at MIT. With more than 35 years of research and teaching to his credit, Dr. Ross has had a major impact on the field of finance, and has authored more than 100 related articles. Among other things, he invented the Arbitrage Pricing Theory and conducted cutting edge studies in the areas of financial derivatives and interest rate models. Models developed by Dr. Ross and his coworkers are now standards for pricing in major securities trading firms. Dr. Ross is also the Chief Investment Officer and Principal of Ross Institutional Investors, LLC, a firm managing portfolios of alternative investments, and the Chairman of Compensation Valuation, Inc., a leading provider of option valuation services. Dr. Ross is on the board of directors of Freddie Mac, where he chairs the Finance and Capital Deployment Committee. He received his B.S. with honors from CalTech in physics, and his Ph.D. in economics from Harvard.

Sean M. Casey, CFA, Executive Director / CIO - SF Holdings, LLC
Mr. Casey is Executive Director and Chief Investment officer of SF Holdings, LLC ("SFH"), a single family office located in Chicago, where he is responsible for the firm’s overall investment strategy and its overall direction. Prior to joining SFH in 2008, Mr. Casey was at Kinship Trust Company, a multi-billion dollar single family office, where he oversaw liquid investment strategies (including hedge funds) and played an active role in top-down portfolio strategy across all asset classes. Prior to Kinship, Mr. Casey held roles in consulting and regulation. Mr. Casey received his M.B.A. from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and his B.A. from John Carroll University.
