The CFA Society of Chicago's Cultivating Female Ambition Advisory Group invites you to a Golf Clinic to sharpen your skills for summer outings! Please join us at Harborside International Golf Center (Voted as one of Chicagoland's "Top Public Courses" and rated "Five Stars" by readers of Chicagoland Golf; also rated "Third Best Municipal Golf Course" by Golf Week and listed as "among the top daily-fee courses nationwide" by Golf & Travel) for an afternoon of practice, group lessons and networking.
Note: Male members of the Society are welcome to attend. Please consider this an opportunity to showcase the diversity of the Society to a female client or co-worker.
In keeping with the community service aspect of the C.F.A. Advisory Group mission statement, we ask that you bring used golf equipment and new or used balls to donate to the Aurora, IL chapter of The First Tee. The First Tee is a non-profit organization that aims to impact the lives of young people of all backgrounds by providing learning facilities and educational programs that promote character development and life-enhancing values through the game of golf. 1:30 - 2:00 pm: Registration/Practice
2:00 - 3:00 pm: Group lessons (based on skill level)
3:00 - 5:00 pm: Practice/Reception/Networking
CFA Chicago Members: $65*
(cash, check and credit card only - NO FUNCTION TICKETS)
*Fee includes balls, club rental (if needed), group golf lessons and hors d'oeuvres. Cash bar.
To register, please call CFA Chicago at 312-251-1301. Note: You must register by phone for this event. Registration deadline: 5 pm, Friday June 6th. Upon registration, you will be asked for your skill level. We will aim to accommodate you in a group at your stated skill level:
Beginner: "My only experience with golf is miniature golf with my kids."
Intermediate: "I know the basics."
Advanced: "I can hold my own on a course."
Note: If you have your own clubs, please bring a 7-iron and a wood.
If you need to cancel, you must contact CFA Chicago by 5pm, Friday, June 6th.
SPACE IS LIMITED. NO WALK-INS. EVENT WILL BE HELD RAIN OR SHINE.
