Jeremy Grantham, Chairman and Co-Founder, GMO

Biography: Jeremy Grantham co-founded GMO in 1977. Prior to GMO's founding, Jeremy was co-founder of Batterymarch Financial Management in 1969 where he recommended commercial indexing in 1971, one of several claims to being first. He began his investment career as an economist with Royal Dutch Shell. He serves as GMO's Chairman and oversees its quantitative products and investment strategies. Jeremy also serves on the investment boards of several Boston-based, non-profit organizations. He has been featured in Forbes and Barron's and is routinely quoted by the financial press.
