Biography: David Rosenberg is Merrill Lynch's chief economist for North America and has been a member of the firm's Global Securities Research and Economics group since May 2000. Mr. Rosenberg was named to this role in December 2002 and is the primary economic spokesman for the United States and Canada and is responsible for formulating and communicating Merrill Lynch's North America economic, interest rate and earnings outlook. He works closely with our United States strategist as well as our equity, fixed income and economics teams globally.
