Vault Series: High Pointe Capital Management, LLC (Ended)
The Challenge of Incorporating Intangible Assets into Stock Selection
Program Description: Intangible assets such as a monopolistic position, patents, brands, network effect, first-mover advantage, etc. make up an ever increasing portion of companies' values. But information about them is sketchy at best. Moreover, not many systematic and comprehensive valuation approaches to incorporate these factors exist. Dr. Gautam Dhingra, CFA, presents a framework to respond to this challenge with logic and evidence.
