Janaína Nascimento is the Head of Human Resources at Legal & General Investment Management America (LGIMA). Nascimento joined LGIMA in 2015 from Nomura International plc in London, where she was responsible for strategic HR support to the Investment Banking Division in EMEA. Prior to that, she managed teams across multiple international jurisdictions and provided HR business partnering support to the Wealth Management division at Lloyds Bank plc, where she also held numerous business roles. Nascimento holds bachelor degrees in Law and Business Administration from UNIP and FATEC universities in São Paulo, Brazil.
Diane Bahu has more than 19 years of leadership and strategy experience in executive search and corporate recruiting. She is currently a SVP & Global Head of Executive Search at Northern Trust, and leads a global team of executive search professionals, who work internally with business leaders and recruiters to define and maintain pivotal hiring needs based on business goals. Prior to joining Northern Trust, Bahu spent 16 years at JPMorgan Chase, and was responsible for hiring across Private Banking, Asset Management, Treasury Services, and Middle Market Banking. Earlier in her career, Bahu held institutional equity and wealth management sales positions at Merrill Lynch, William Blair and BMO Harris Bank. Before beginning her career in financial services, she lived in Washington, DC and worked for the United States Senate Special Committee on Aging, as a Legislative Correspondent. Bahu graduated from Northwestern University with a bachelor's in Communication Studies. She is an active volunteer of the United Way and Feed My Starving Children.
David Egan is the Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Mesirow Financial. Egan is responsible for HR Strategy including talent management, human capital development, HR Advisory and employee engagement initiatives across the Company. He has extensive experience working with C-Level executives on strategic talent management and organizational effectiveness issues. Egan has over 12 years of experience in Global Human Resource Management and previously worked in HR with Bank of America in Chicago and Quintain Estates and Development Plc. in London, England. Egan is originally from Galway, Ireland and gained a dual degree in Accounting and Human Resource Management from the National College of Ireland, Dublin. He is currently completing his MBA from DePaul University with a concentration in Strategic Human Resource Management (anticipated fall 2017). He has also obtained his PHR and GPHR certifications and completed the CFAI Claritas program. In his free time Egan enjoys Rugby, Golf and is an avid reader of historical nonfiction. He also mentors in the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Chicago program.
Meredith Grogan, Director of Talent Acquisition Operations, joined Morningstar in 2007 in the business development group. After several years in a sales role, Grogan moved to an internal facing role training and onboarding our early career talent. Her next transition was managing different client service teams and working with Morningstar's large institutional clients. Grogan joined the Talent Acquisition team in summer of 2016 where she has been able to translate her years of experience at the organization to helping attract great talent for Morningstar.
