Robert Becker is a Senior Recruitment Partner at BMO Harris Bank, and has a recruitment background focused exclusively in banking and financial services. He has worked with some of the largest banks, hedge funds, asset managers, and trading firms to develop long term talent strategies and attract top talent to meet and exceed clients' goals and expectations. Throughout his career, Becker has developed relationships in financial services placing candidates within capital markets, treasury, audit, anti-money laundering (AML), compliance, operational risk, trust, private equity, and investor relations to list a few of the capabilities. He has lead successful projects to secure Chief Compliance Officers, COOs, General Counsels, Controllers, CFOs, CAMLOs, and line of business heads for capital markets, model validation, quant analysis, investor relations, indirect auto, and governance & reporting. Becker is an active member of several financial services networking groups and organizations in Chicago. He is on the Board of Directors for Love Andrew - a non-profit focused on providing resources and support to children with autism. He is also heavily involved with EGBOK Mission, a non-profit helping teach underprivileged children hospitality skills to build a foundation for a career and healthy lifestyle. Becker attended the College of Charleston in Charleston, SC and graduated with a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance & Leadership, Change and Social Responsibility.
Julie Nagle: As Head of Human Resources for Harris Associates, Julie Nagle leads the efforts in developing and executing a broad spectrum of human resources strategies and programs. Nagle joined Harris in 2014 and has nearly 30 years of experience in human resources leadership roles with companies such as Boeing Aircraft, Sony Electronics and Forsythe Technology, Inc. Nagle earned her bachelor's degree from Michigan State University, with a double major in human resources and psychology. In addition, she holds certifications from the human resources program at University of Stockholm, Sweden. Nagle is the co-founder of the greater Chicagoland HR - Financial Services Consortium, a creative professional network committed to openly exchanging best practices, insights and resources within the Financial Services industry. She is an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management and the Human Resources Management Association of Chicago.
Laura K. Pollock is a strategic advisor to leading asset management firms and their top performing executives. With nearly fifteen years of dedicated asset management search experience at both large and small firms, she built a firm founded on best practices and trusted relationships. Pollock has conducted senior-level searches in investment management and has worked closely with global investment management organizations. Most recently, Pollock was a partner at David Barrett Partners. Previously, she was a senior member of the Asset & Wealth Management Practice at Russell Reynolds Associates in Boston and New York. She began her career in investment banking and asset management at Friedman, Billings and Ramsey.
Jim Schroeder serves clients in the financial services sector across all functional disciplines, including C-level and board of director roles, and has more than 20 years of retained executive search experience. As a trusted advisor and partner to senior management in recruitment and human capital management, Schroeder conducts senior-level assignments for private and publicly-held institutional investment management platforms, global banking and financial institutions, insurance, real estate and private equity firms. Prior to joining DHR International, Schroeder was a partner in the financial services practice of a leading, global retained executive search firm. In this capacity, he managed the Midwest Asset Management practice serving a variety of long-only and alternative money managers primarily in the US. He began his executive search firm and was recruited to the world's largest retained search firm as a senior associate in 1995.While there, he worked across multiple industries and functional disciplines recruiting for leadership roles under the Managing Director. Schroeder received a B.A. in Business and a B.A. in Spanish from Augustana College, Rock Island, IL.
Lyndon A. Taylor is a Partner with Heidrick & Struggles and a member of the Financial Services Practice based in Chicago. He is also a member of the CEO/Board Services and Diversity Practices and focuses on board, executive, functional, and investment leadership assignments. His recent assignments have included searches for both public and private organizations and spans senior front office and functional roles including board, CEO, CIO, COO and general management positions across banking, asset management, hedge fund, markets, insurance and alternative investment clients. Prior to re-joining Heidrick & Struggles in 2014, Lyndon spent more than ten years in the Financial Services Practice of another global executive search firm where he executed more than 200 senior assignments for clients in and led the firm's Global Diversity Practice. Earlier in his career, Lyndon worked in investment banking at UBS and Merrill Lynch and spent time in corporate development with Enron. He also served in the U.S. Navy prior to college. Lyndon is a member of the Economics Club of Chicago and previously served on the Board of Directors of Hubbard Street Dance Chicago. He received a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Bachelor of Science in Ethnic Studies from Southern Methodist University and his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth Graduate School of Business.
