Speaker Bio: Alvin Spector is a member of Russell Reynolds Associates’ financial services practice and is located in the firm's Chicago office. Alvin has worked closely with chief investment and chief financial officers, portfolio managers, economists, liability managers, credit analysts, compliance officers, clearing and securities lending professionals, trust officers, sales and trading professionals, structuring specialists, syndicate managers, actuarial personnel, residential and commercial mortgage specialists, risk managers, marketing and other financial service specialists.
Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates, Alvin was an executive search consultant with A.T. Kearney where he conducted numerous recruiting assignments in financial services, sales, marketing and portfolio management. Before that he was a principal of Morgan Stanley & Co. where he assisted in the hiring, training and development of professional staff for their Chicago office. Prior to Morgan Stanley, Alvin served as Vice President with Smith Barney and Vice President and training officer with Continental Illinois National Bank.
